Bio-Flamma Kft. stared it’s operation in the Summer of 2010, when it functioned as the Hungarian commercial representative of the Finland-based UPM Steyrermühl sawmill. Since then the company has gone a long way and experienced considerable development, however, it did not leave it’s parners but has expanded it’s activity and circle of partners only.
The main line of the company was purchasing wood in the beginning and it has remained in the same field up to now. The primary material is the coniferious, each part of which is purchased from logs to pulpwood/woodchips. Lumber is produced from logs during processing, while from woodchips OSB and block-board is made, which is available in Hungary as well.
EGGER is one of the leading OSB and block-boards manufacturing company groups, moreover, Bio-Flamma Kft makes the purchasing from it’s Roman and Austrian branch.
The Romanian plant is one of the most modern and the biggest material processing manufacturers in Europe.
Wood purchasing is a very complex task, because it includes the whole East and Middle Europe. Most wood is purchased from Ukraine, Belorussia,Slovenia, Poland, Czech Rebublic and Hungary.
Bio-Flamma Kft. has gone through a huge progression as the first year only 60 wagons of timber were delivered, but nowadays it is moving circa 1700 wagons pro month.
The company managed to reach this achievement within 6 years.
Bio-Flamma Kft. keeps on with it’s activity and it would like to reach even bigger success and intends to support its partners.
